Clients are often faced with a dilemma when it comes to procuring the construction of their project. International boundaries and cultural differences, alternative forms of written contracts and the actual make up and experience of the local construction industry all make the Client decision process difficult.
QPM can advise Clients on the best route to follow based on an analysis of the Client’s attitude to a number of key criteria. These criteria would include attitude to risk, the timing required for the project, the need for a firm price for the Works, quality requirements, the responsibility required from consultants, the complexity of the building and a number of other factors that would need to be reviewed. Once the criteria have been analyzed, an appropriate format for the approach to the project can be recommended.
On another level QPM can also provide advice on, and manage from inception to completion, the materials procurement process for Clients and Operators. This would cover the full range of FF&E, Operators Supplies, and specialist equipment. Advice on supply chain management would form part of the process.
