Testing and Commissioning is the progression of all Engineering Systems’ installations from the stage of static completion to full working order to specified requirements. This includes the establishment, implementation and regulation of all systems to meet the Design requirements. Commissioning is deemed to be complete when all work is completed to the standards required by the appropriate regulations.
The QPM process incorporates static pre-commissioning, which is carried out prior to practical completion, balancing and regulation, performance testing, and systems’ reports. It is therefore essential that the programme of works is driven to allow sufficient time for the Commissioning phase prior to Certification and handover to Client.
